Democrats and anti-Trump reporters have been pouring through the Mueller report to find any dirt they can use to impeach President Trump.
They all made a horrifying discovery.
And Robert Mueller was caught in a lie that no one could believe.
One of the most infamous accusations in the fake news Christopher Steele dossier was that Russians were blackmailing Trump with a video claimed to show him hiring prostitutes to urinate on a bed in Moscow hotel that Barack and Michelle Obama supposedly slept in.
This wild allegation was the original report that kicked off the collusion narrative.
And a footnote in Robert Mueller’s report makes it look like there is some validity to this claim.
Mueller included a partial text messaged exchange from Georgian businessman Giorgi Rtskhiladze to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen where Rtskhiladze makes it seem like he stopped the pee tape from getting out.
The only problem is, Rtskhiladze wrote a letter to Attorney General William Barr claiming this is a lie and that the full exchange shows he thought the tape was fake.
The Daily Caller reports:
Bolden’s letter takes issue with several parts of the the special counsel’s report, including the quote of Rtskhiladze’s text message as reading: “Stopped flow of tapes from Russia but not sure if there’s anything else. Just so you know.”
Rtskhiladze actually wrote that he had “stopped flow of some tapes,” the text messages show.
Rtskhiladze told prosecutors during interviews in 2018 that he was told that the tapes were fake but that he did not communicate that to Cohen, according to Mueller’s report. Cohen told Mueller’s team in a Sept. 12, 2018 interview that he notified Trump about the message from Rtskhiladze.
Rtskhiladze claims that his additional texts with Cohen show that he had no direct knowledge of the tapes and that he saw them as mere rumor, rather than fact. Bolden also says that Rtskhiladze did not hear the rumor first-hand.
Donald Trump maintains that the Mueller Report was written by Democrat partisans out to frame him.
Gross misrepresentations such as this are proof he is right.
