But now Ron DeSantis turned the tables by forcing Blue states to confront the reality of illegal immigration.
Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation and executive orders last year giving his state the ability to fight back against Joe Biden’s open borders agenda.
DeSantis promised that if the Biden administration tried to fly illegal aliens into Florida, he would send them to Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s hometown.
And on Wednesday night, DeSantis made good on his word by flying two planes of illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, the home of wealthy left-wing elites where Barack and Michelle Obama purchased a $15 million beachfront mansion.
“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” DeSantis Communications Director Taryn Fenske told Fox News Digital.
Fenske noted that Blue states wanted to be sanctuary states and refused to enforce federal immigration laws to set themselves up as havens for illegal aliens, so therefore they were best-suited to take care of the illegal aliens Biden allowed into the country.
“States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,” Fenske added.
“As you may know, in this past legislative session the Florida legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law,” Fenske continued.
Conservatives mocked the leftists freaking out about a handful of illegal aliens showing up in Blue cities by pointing out the reality of the situation.
