Ron DeSantis made one major campaign announcement that has all hell breaking loose

The political star of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continues to rise.

Governor DeSantis is one of the most talked about contenders for 2024.

And Ron DeSantis made one major campaign announcement that has all hell breaking loose.

Governor DeSantis announced he would headline a series of “Unite and Win” Turning Point Action rallies for Donald Trump-endorsed candidates for the U.S. Senate and for Governor in Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico.

Turning Point Action founder Charlie Kirk explained to Fox News Channel that DeSantis’ status as one of the most effective and popular conservative elected officials made him the ideal candidate to stump for Republicans in key states.

“Governor DeSantis is America’s Governor and one of the most popular leaders in America,” Kirk stated. “He has become the model for a new conservative movement that is willing to stand on principle and to actually fight on behalf of the values of his voters.”

Kirk added that DeSantis’ endorsement of Donald Trump-backed candidates would serve as a seal of validation to voters.

“That he is willing to throw the full weight of his support behind Kari, Blake, and JD tells you everything you need to know about these incredible candidates who I endorse and support 100%,” Kirk continued.

“DeSantis has the unique ability to unite conservatives around these candidates, and Turning Point Action is honored to host and organize these rallies on their behalf,” Kirk concluded.

DeSantis stumping for Republican candidates in key swing states automatically fired up talk that he plans to run for President in 2024.

In interviews, DeSantis refuses to engage in 2024 speculation.

But he also has not ruled out the possibility of running in 2024 even if Donald Trump announces a re-election campaign.

DeSantis is the most talked about Republican as the heir to Donald Trump’s movement, and his successes in banning wokeism from schools and standing up to the COVID tyranny sent his favorability numbers with Republicans soaring.

Campaigning in Ohio, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Arizona will also give DeSantis national exposure in the states that decide Presidential elections.

This campaign schedule combined with the fact that DeSantis raised an eye-popping $129 million for his re-election campaign sends a clear signal that he is preparing to run for President in 2024.

That would lead to a showdown with Donald Trump that can only be resolved by Republican voters.
