Ruth Bader Ginsburg just said something shocking about Brett Kavanaugh

Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Brett Kavanaugh are often on opposite sides of major rulings.

Ginsburg is the leader of the court’s liberal bloc and Kavanaugh’s confirmation was thought to cement a five-member conservative majority.

And now Ruth Bader Ginsburg just said something shocking about Brett Kavanaugh.

Ginsburg recently spoke at Georgetown University Law’s Supreme Court Institute where she praised Kavanaugh’s decision to hire a staff of all-female law clerks.

Kavanaugh made this decision after liberals used fake news and lies about him sexually assaulting women at high school and college parties to try and derail his confirmation.

The Daily Caller reports:

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg praised Justice Brett Kavanaugh in a panel Tuesday at Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Institute for making history by appointing an “entire staff” of females.

The panel included Justice Ginsburg and two of her former law clerks, both female, and discussed her focus on gender equality along with her life and work.

“There is a very important first on the Supreme Court this term and it’s thanks to our new justice, Justice Kavanaugh, whose entire staff, they’re all women, all of his law clerks are women … it’s the first time in the history of the United States that there have been more women clerking than men,” Ginsburg said during the panel.

Ginsburg stated later in the panel that “we are getting rid of the overtly explicit classification that women can’t do this or can’t do that. Almost all of those are gone.”

Ginsburg had previously warned liberals that Justice Kennedy’s retirement and subsequent replacement by Kavanaugh would be the most consequential move of her lifetime.

Kennedy was a moderate Republican Justice and Kavanaugh is squarely to his right.

So Trump supporters can expect this will be the last praise Ginsburg throws Kavanaugh’s way.

We will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.

Thank you. RR – DO YOUR DD.

  3. Kavanaugh is a violent drunk, a sexual assaulter like Trump so now he has another lackey in the Supreme Court that will side with him on everything. Trump likes dictators and Kavanaugh fits that well, do you think at his hearing he showed judicial temperament sputtering about how he was getting picked on, his life was ruined, etc.

    • Well if you want to look at qualifications how about the 2 liberal judges
\Obama picked, they are totally and 100% on the left for liberals. Kavanagh
has sided with the liberals on a few occasions these two women have not, and
Chief Justice has sided more with liberals than conservatives even though
he was picked by a Republican President.

    • Amen! And he has already been sited for lying in his first confirmation hearing. I just don’t understand how someone picks the occupation of being a judge-when they know they can’t hide their bias? They are human so they have opinions, but when every one knows how you will rule before the case is tried, that’s not right. And no, it’s not right to stack the court. It’s also not right for Dems to make efforts toward balancing the playing field, it should all be done by the letter of the law. But as we all know now, what we the people know is right, and what we want our representatives to do don’t have much in common.
So the citizens are now spectators, victims of those we put in office. I don’t think any of them are concerned with us.

Oh, and to whomever wrote this article, why do you want to tell us that Kavenough was the victim of fake testimony against him? You don’t get to control what we think.

    • Joe, your reasoning is … (smh). You often opened your mouth without thinking.

It is an irrevocable fact that none of Dr Christine Blasey Ford’s friends are aware of this incident. She had the nerve to mime a child voice during the testimony. Because of her doctorate degree, the Dem senators rolled out a red carpet to welcome her to testify. She was reportedly coached before the hearing. Also she is an expert with the polygraph tests. The #MeToo movement demanded that we must believe all female victims no matter what. Etc, etc.

No evidence at all. Zero. It’s really pathetic.

    • Well, I don’t think you are Joe the Plumber, of reputation and WVa few years ago. Your testimony was captured on TV, and we could assure ourselves it was really what you thought, and knew. Your mommen of Kavanaugh does not have ring of truth to any part of it. And Dr. Blasy was a 15 year old, child, living away from home, in a girls high school of rich folks, but not too solid reputation of modesty, honor, or truth. Driving a vehicle, with out a drivrs license, parked on school grounds, did not know how she got to party, how she got back to her apartment afterwards, and all the people she spoke of being there, could not remember any such party. If she had not gone on, acquired doctorate, was bit of failure with that, and Senator Finestein had been a bit more honest, would never have been heard of, so where did you get all your information? Do you have a majic ball, that gives that info? Let us all agree, her testimony was not too believable??????

    • Based on the treatment his family received during the hearings and the unsubstantiated claims of a fragile and disturbed woman I’d say his reaction was mild compared to how others would react

      • Not sure who Kent was referring too with his reply, but guess I was lucky. Born in Farm Country, 1929, I attended schools in ohio between 1st grade in one room school house (Jockey Hollow) enear Flushing, Ohio, 2rd, 3rd and 4th in one room school house in Tappan, Ohio. 5th through 7th grade in Roseville, Ohio with all 12 grades, when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Moved back to Scio, Ohio for rest of high school, graduating 1947. Worked 4 years (2 in coal mine, 2 in A&) Store, clerking). Enlisted Oct 1950 (draft notice appeared same day), and from 1950-54 I associated with WWII veterans. I did not run into any Morons, Idiots, or Perverts, until about 1960s to 1970s, with young people running away, traveling across country in volkswagon buses, painted in garish colors, smoking drugs, using drugs, alcohol, and we started to read and see them on television, radio, and in our newspapers. Guess I had a protected life, by not living in the big cities. In Country, and even in Miliary, I could keep my religion, my guns, and live my life, as set by my own standards, and those of my parents, and society around me. Do not envy you, your experience, Kent. Read about such now, and wonder what world is coming to. Glad I missed that.

    • Yep you just go ahead and believe everything that living BITCH Dianne Feinstein has to say and you won’t get very far in life all the dems do is lie cause that is all they know.

  4. For ANY appointed government position (and i hope for the same in the private sector), the most qualified to do the job should ALWAYS be hired. Anyone hired for their skin color, sex, or any other reason besides being qualified should NEVER be considered.

    • It’s well-known inside the Beltway that Kavanaugh loves to surround himself with smoking hot women. And he’ll only hire smoking hot female law clerks. It’s no surprise he’s doing what he’s doing. Line up all the women he’s hired, and not one will look ugly or plain.

      • So what? Are good looking women barred from becoming law clerks? Back up your claim with facts because as it stands it holds no water. Are you a Beltway insider?

  5. GINSBERG GAVE THE ACCOLADES TO BULLSHIT JUSTICE KAVANAUGH. SHE DOSEN’T KNOW YOU CAN’T BULLSHIT A BULLSHITER. HE HIRED THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR ABILITIES & EXPERTISE NOT BECAUSE THEY’RE WOMEN.

  6. Unfortunately, it has become a common practice to “stack the deck” politically, in order to further certain people’s agendas. Every president has done that. This one is no exception, he’s just been able to nominate and HAVE CONFIRMED more conservative judges than his predecessors. THAT is the fault of Congress.

    • And yet, the Democrats are talking about expanding the number of Supreme Court justices and REALLY STACKING the deck. Wild guess here – you have no problem with that, right?

    • Deborah, You used word “unfortunately” in you comment. Why do you find that unfortunate, when President Donald Trump has been selecting from Conservative, Constitutional oriented attorney’s whose past decisions reflected their adherrance to past decisions of Supreme Court, when they also made decisions based on Constitution? I find that very refreshing, when I consider the tinkering done with Constitution over the decades, in prior administrations, to make law based on their personal decisions, not the law, or any prior laws. Some find their opinion, by writing in edges of opinions, as was done with Roe versus Wade, and also for same sex marriages. No where in Constitution was there any reference to those topics. At least in copies of Constitution that I have studied for close to 90 years, though I did wait until 5th grade, to learn how to read. Memorized the books as my mother read them to me, and family thought I couold read at earlier age. Nellie Lukens, in Ohio 5th grade, checked in book, I found on play ground, and had turned in to her. She asked me if I had read it, and thought I would find it interesting, if mother helped me with large words and meaning. ROBIN HOOD, and it grabbed my thinking, and my nickname through 5th to 12 grade, was “Bookworm”, and that was entered in year book, at graduation in 1947. Been reading everything and anything, ever since, and also became the “GO TO GUY” by my commanders, in 26 years in Military 1950 to 1976.

  7. Ginsburg praising him is like seeing W Bush and Michelle Obama sitting together and coddling over a piece of candy. Keep in mind that Barak Obama was a very radical president at the time. We even consider him as a real traitor to our country. To deal with him is like dealing with the likes of AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Omar.

Ginsburg praising Kavanaugh is probably a liberal attempt to brownnose him. Softening up his conservative stance before a shank behind her back could spring up at him.

Yes, there is a swamp in Washington, D.C. that need to be cleaned up. Never lower your guard. Just saying.

    MAGA 2020!

  8. I don’t know why people get upset at the idea of female lawyers, clerks, and judges. When I was a director of security the in house company attorney was a woman, our insurance company lawyer for civil cases was a woman and another attorney we used on a regular basis was a woman. All were excellent and great people. I even asked one of them out but she was already committed. We successfully worked together for another couple of years. As a matter of fact, the male lawyer another insurance company sent to defend us in one case was sketchy enough I was sent to babysit him for a couple of days. A good thing. He asked me to help with voir dire, he asked the question but was lousy at choosing jurors. The ones I chose patted my boss on the back in the elevator on the way lunch and to;d that was good testimony you gave. We won.

    • I look at this story and all I can say is that Justice Kavanaugh got played.
The fake news rags on him about alleged sexual assaults in high school and college and he hired all women. How about telling everyone to kiss his ass and he is going to hire the best and the brightest without regard as to whether they have tits and a furburger or a twig and berries. Is that not how it should be done in any successful endeavor where talent is needed? These people simply MUST stop making moves like this to appease fake news outlets in order to get them off of their backs. That will only embolden them to do things like this again and again so they can get people hired that they want in the organization.

    • I don’t have a problem with women being hired because they are the most qualified, i have a problem with them being hired Because they are women. there is a HUGE difference. I have the exact same problem with people being hired “because” they are Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, Gay, Straight………….. I’m sure anyone with a brain should see my point.
