Sean Hannity admitted the surprising thing he likes about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Sean Hannity and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are polar opposites politically.

That doesn’t mean there is a constant state of loathing.

But Sean Hannity admitted the surprising thing he likes about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez and Marjorie Taylor Greene spar in committee hearing

A House Oversight Committee hearing to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt for failing to turn over the audio tape of Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur flew off the rails.

The explosive confrontation between Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) dominated the headlines.

The transcript of the exchange via Mediaite:

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Mr., I do have a point of order. And I would like to move to take down Ms. Greene’s words. That is absolutely unacceptable! How dare you attack the physical appearance of another person!

GREENE: Are your feelings hurt?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Move her words down!

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Oh! Girl, baby, girl!

GREENE: Oh, really?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Don’t even play!

GREENE: Baby, girl? I don’t think so.

OCASIO-CORTEZ: We are gonna move and we are gonna take your words down.

Sean Hannity reacts

Sean Hannity invited Judge Jeanine Pirro onto his show to react to the scene.

To the surprise of many, Hannity liked what he saw.

“Why are people so offended?” Hannity wondered.

Judge Jeanine agreed that she found the whole spectacle amusing.

Pirro hypothesized that what upset Americans is that Congress is supposed to be a deliberative body and that people like Ocasio-Cortez acting that way left many asking themselves how these people get entrusted with so much power.

“I think it’s funny too, but at the same time, they’re in Congress,” Pirro added. “The truth is, we think very little of people in Congress and when they engaged in high school, Mean Girl kind of back-and-forth, you say, ‘You know, why are we paying these people? Why do they have so much power? Why are they in a position to waste our time and their own time like this?’”

“I understand,” Hannity admitted. “Everyone wants this hifalutin–”

“You like it?!” Pirro shot back.

“Sometimes, you gotta keep it–” Hannity tried to say before Pirro cut him off again.

“Sean, you like it!” Pirro exclaimed.

“I do,” Hannity stated. “I’m not gonna lie.”

There was serious business going on in that committee hearing.

Merrick Garland asserted that the Justice Department could cover up evidence on the sole basis that it’s politically embarrassing to Joe Biden.

That’s an attack on the rule of law and the foundational principles of democracy.

And it was overshadowed by a cat fight.
