Sean Hannity left viewers stunned into silence by giving Trump this wrong advice

Sean Hannity is one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters in the media and someone Trump turns to for counsel.

But Hannity left Trump supporters scratching their heads.

That’s because Sean Hannity left viewers stunned into silence by giving Trump this wrong advice.

Trump reveals stance on abortion and Hannity offers controversial guidance

In a video posted to Truth Social, Donald Trump laid out his position on abortion, which was that it was best left up to the states, which meant that red states could protect life, but also that blue states controlled by far-Left Democrats would likely permit abortion-on-demand up until birth.

“My view is now that we have abortion where everybody wanted it. From a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation or perhaps both, and whatever they decide must be the law of the land, in this case, the law of the state,” Trump stated.

Trump also added that he supported exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother, which irked many Pro-Lifers.

Sean Hannity appeared on Fox & Friends and supported Trump’s stance.

“Democrats are going to demagogue the issue of abortion,” Hannity declared.

But then Hannity veered into dubious territory, falsely claiming no Republican could win election if they took a 100 percent Pro-Life stance.

“Any Republican that would ever take a position, and the President was clear in his statement about this too, any Republican that would take a position [of] no exceptions for rape, incest, or the mother’s life, that is political suicide,” Hannity declared.

“Yeah, it is,” Jones replied in agreement.

Hannity pushes falsehood about Pro-Life legislation

Hannity then claimed it was political suicide for Republicans to support Pro-Life legislation.

“Any Republican that calls for a flat-out ban politically — politically, I’m talking politically now — that would be outright suicide,” Hannity continued.

Hannity then claimed supporting Pro-Life laws put the entire conservative agenda at risk as it would allow Democrats to win election after election.

“If you want to change the country and if you want to close the border and you want to turn this disastrous economy around, and you don’t like what’s happening with war in Europe, war in the Middle East, America ostensibly has abandoned our ally Israel under the Biden administration, if you are sick and tired of defund, dismantle, no bail law, etc., this election means anything,” Hannity concluded.

Hannity misstated the facts.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed a heartbeat bill into law back in 2019.

That legislation protected life after six weeks and contained no exception for rape.

When DeWine ran for re-election in 2022, he won in a landslide by 25 points with 62 percent of the vote.

For years, Ohio was viewed as the poster child for a swing state and the Republican Governor cruised to re-election despite ignoring Hannity’s terrible advice.
