Second Amendment supporters are on edge after this major announcement

Democrats are pulling out all the stops to retake the House in 2018.

They’re even trying to capitalize on the tragic school shootings to advance their political agenda.

And now billionaire gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg just made an announcement that has Second Amendment supporters worried.

Former New York City Mayor, and notorious anti-gun financier, Michael Bloomberg announced he’ll dump at least $80 million of his own money to support Democrats’ efforts to retake the House of Representatives.

The Daily Caller reports:

“Republicans in Congress have had almost two years to prove they could govern responsibly. They failed. As we approach the 2018 midterms, it’s critical that we elect people who will lead in ways that this Congress won’t,” Bloomberg said in a statement Wednesday.

Democrats will need 23 congressional seats to win the majority, and Bloomberg’s massive donations could be just the key. His ability to fund expensive ad campaigns on television, online and by mail in more than a dozen suburban districts are a move to tip votes in the Democrats favor.

Bloomberg’s generous contribution surpasses that of casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, who donated $30 million to the Congressional Leadership Fund back in May in hopes of helping Republicans keep control of the House.

Bloomberg already bankrolls countless anti-gun organizations operating on the state and federal level, many of which have political arms that are involved in elections as well.

In a statement, Bloomberg claims Republicans “have done little to reach across the aisle to craft bipartisan solutions” and specifically pointed to jobs.

Perhaps being a billionaire is why Bloomberg hasn’t noticed that unemployment is at record lows.

Consumer confidence is soaring and Americans are seeing more money in their paychecks than they have in many years.

That’s because Republicans were able to pass Trump’s tax cuts without a single Democrat supporting their efforts to help the American people.

Which party again has “done little to reach across the aisle to craft bipartisan solutions” for the American people?

We’ll keep you posted on any updates to this story.
