Steve Moore delivered one stunning truth about Trump’s economy that has supporters celebrating

The economic numbers don’t lie.

After just six months back in office, President Trump has orchestrated something remarkable.

And Steve Moore delivered one stunning truth about Trump’s economy that has supporters celebrating.

Trump is finishing what Reagan started

Economist Steve Moore has worked for two Presidents who transformed America’s economic landscape – Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.

But during a recent appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Moore made a stunning admission about Trump’s first six months back in office.

"You know, when I die, I hope that they put on my tombstone that I worked for two of the greatest presidents of the last 50 years, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump," Moore declared.¹

The economist, who co-authored The Trump Economic Miracle with Art Laffer, said Trump is accomplishing what Reagan couldn’t finish.

"One of the things that Trump is doing is he’s kind of finishing the Reagan agenda," Moore explained.²

Reagan tried to eliminate wasteful government spending and corrupt foreign aid programs but faced resistance from a hostile Congress and entrenched bureaucracy.

Trump got it done in six months.

"Just in the last week or so, we’ve gotten rid of the World Bank. We’ve gotten rid of the corrupt foreign aid institutions. We have gotten rid of, you know, the subsidies for Corporation for Public Broadcasting, something 40 years ago we tried to do," Moore stated.³

The economist pointed out the absurdity of taxpayer-funded public broadcasting when wealthy individuals could easily support these programs privately.

"Elmo was the richest guy in the world. Why do we have to be subsidizing public radio and public TV?" Moore asked.⁴

The $11 trillion manufacturing commitment proves tariff strategy worked

Host Sean Hannity highlighted how Trump’s tariff threats – not even actual tariffs – generated an unprecedented $11 trillion commitment to American manufacturing.

This massive investment covers critical industries including rare earth mining, semiconductors, automobiles, and pharmaceuticals.

The threat of tariffs convinced foreign companies and domestic manufacturers that America was serious about bringing production home.

Moore had initially been skeptical about Trump’s tariff strategy when writing Trumpnomics.

But the results speak for themselves.

Companies are racing to build manufacturing facilities on American soil rather than risk being locked out of the world’s largest consumer market.

This represents the largest reshoring of manufacturing in American history.

The commitment includes plans to mine rare earth elements domestically, ending America’s dangerous dependence on China for these critical materials needed in everything from smartphones to military equipment.

Trump delivered the impossible in record time

Moore was stunned by how quickly Trump pushed through his economic agenda.

"If you had told me six months ago that we would get this Big, Beautiful tax bill passed by July 4th, I would have said no way. It’s not possible," Moore admitted.⁵

The economist knows how Congress works after decades in Washington, D.C.

Politicians typically drag their feet and wait until the last minute to pass major legislation.

"Trump – I don’t know how he does it," Moore marveled. "It was Trump just by the force of his personality was able to get this thing done."⁶

The tax cuts represent the largest in American history, implementing supply-side economics "on steroids and human growth hormone" as Hannity put it.

Combined with America’s newfound energy dominance, the economic impact will be impossible to calculate.

Americans can feel the difference

Moore noticed something remarkable happening on the ground level across America.

During the Biden years, people would approach him with complaints about inflation and economic misery.

"When Biden was president, people would come up and yell at me and they go, yeah, inflation’s out of control. You’re one of those damn economy, blah, blah, blah," Moore recalled.⁷

Now the mood has completely shifted.

"People are in a good mood and even half of the poll show even half of Democrat voters who don’t even like Trump are pretty happy with the things he’s doing," Moore observed.⁸

Americans can see the difference at the gas pump, in grocery stores, and in restaurants.

The psychological impact of Trump’s economic policies extends beyond raw statistics.

When people believe the economy is improving and their leaders are fighting for American workers, consumer confidence rises and spending increases.

This creates a virtuous cycle of economic growth that benefits everyone.

Moore understated the miracle when he co-authored his book about Trump’s economic achievements.

"If anything, we understated the miracle that has happened," Moore confessed.⁹

The Trump Economic Miracle isn’t just about numbers on a spreadsheet – it’s about restoring American confidence and finishing the Reagan Revolution that began over 40 years ago.
