Ted Cruz destroyed Joe Biden with one crushing reality check

Joe Biden’s rocky first few days in office were among the worst of any President in many Americans’ lifetimes.

Biden ran into trouble on every front.

And things only got worse when Ted Cruz destroyed Joe Biden with one crushing reality check.

Joe Biden nominated the completely unqualified former Democrat Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg as Transportation Secretary.

During Butigieg’s confirmation hearing, Texas Senator Ted Cruz took the former South Bend Mayor to task over Joe Biden’s job killing executive order to terminate the Keystone XL pipeline.

The pipeline created 1,200 good jobs with the promise of nearly 10,000 more coming online and Cruz wanted to know how the Biden administration planned to address the fact that canceling the pipeline took away the ability of over 1,000 Americans to feed their families.

“It was disconcerting to see yesterday, the first day of the Biden administration, straight out of the gate, President Biden announced that he was canceling the Keystone Pipeline. That is a major infrastructure project. That is a project that right now today has 1,200 good-paying union jobs and in 2021, the Keystone Pipeline was scheduled to have more than 11,000 jobs, including 8,000 union jobs for contracts worth $1.6 billion dollars, and with the stroke of a pen, President Biden has told those 11,000 workers – those union workers – your jobs are gone,” Cruz asked.

Buttigieg muttered some mumbo jumbo about climate change, but scripted talking points did not address the reality of the fact that Joe Biden made killing jobs one of his first acts in office.

“I think one of the most important things is to make sure that we make good on the promise of the president’s climate vision as being one that, on net, creates far more jobs, millions, we hope.

“I know that won’t just happen. We’ll have to do a lot of work to make sure that’s real, but getting this right means ensuring that there are more good-paying union jobs for all Americans delivered through that infrastructure vision,” Buttigieg claimed.

Senator Cruz was having none of it.

Cruz demanded to know what industry these workers could turn to as the Biden administration’s proposed tax and regulatory regime threatened the integrity of the energy and manufacturing in the name of so-called “climate change.”

Joe Biden made it clear on his first days in office that paying off ideological liberal pressure groups was priority number and that sticking to American workers was priority number two.
