All of Washington, D.C. is getting ready to focus on the 2024 Presidential election.
There is about to be a major change in the status quo.
And Ted Cruz just named which Democrats are about to replace Kamala Harris.
The New York Times published a blockbuster piece where Democrats went on the record to fret about the idea of Joe Biden running for re-election due to the fact that he will turn 86 by the end of a second term.
“That will be in my opinion one of the most hard-hitting arguments against Biden,” Democrat Party fundraiser John Morgan told The Times. “It doesn’t take a genius to say, ‘Look, with his age, we have to really think about this.’”
The article then revealed the Democrat Party is in a state of panic over the fact that if Biden bows out of the 2024 race, then the unpopular, unlikeable, and politically toxic Kamala Harris would be the next in line.
“Through much of the fall, a quiet panic set in among key Democrats about what would happen if President Biden opted not to run for a second term. Most Democrats interviewed, who insisted on anonymity to avoid alienating the White House, said flatly that they did not think Ms. Harris could win the Presidency in 2024. Some said the party’s biggest challenge would be finding a way to sideline her without inflaming key Democratic constituencies that would take offense,” The Times exclusively reported.
In an interview with Fox News Channel’s Jesse Watters, Texas Senator Ted Cruz predicted that Joe Biden would not seek re-election.
“Listen, when Democrats want to kill each other, they have The New York Times on speed dial number one,” Cruz stated. “And what this article is, is every ambitious Democrat, they’re looking at Joe Biden – and I’m here to tell you Joe Biden’s not gonna run in ’24. I do not believe he will be the Democrat nominee in ’24.”
Cruz added that The Times article was clearly sourced to Pete Buttigieg, Gavin Newsom, and Elizabeth Warren, who are all plotting to challenge Kamala Harris for the Democrat nomination if Biden passes on re-election.
“I think all the ambitious Democrats are measuring the drapes,” Cruz added. “And I think you’re looking at people like Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren and Gavin Newsom, who all see Kamala Harris in their way.”
“And so these knives are coming from every direction,” Cruz continued.
No other President and Vice President have members of their own Party talking in the press like Biden and Harris do.
Democrats see both as politically vulnerable due to fears that they cannot defeat Donald Trump.
And despite the fact that Joe Biden is trying to pitch himself to Americans as a historically successful President, his own Party is looking for the escape hatch on him and Kamala Harris.
