The FBI’s tactics and anti-Trump political bias are once again facing intense scrutiny.
This episode showed how the FBI is on a witch hunt to destroy Donald Trump.
And the FBI Director used one word to describe Trump supporters that instantly blew up in his face.
Americans were outraged that an armed force of 30 FBI agents stormed into Donald Trump’s home as part of what many saw as a political vendetta.
FBI Director Christopher Wray compounded the problem by dredging up one of Hillary Clinton’s worst insults of Trump supporters from the 2016 campaign.
Wray said that threats against the FBI were “deplorable and dangerous.”
“I’m always concerned about threats to law enforcement,” Wray added. “Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re upset with.”
Of course, Wray never spoke out against leftist terrorists targeting Supreme Court Justices or Crisis Pregnancy Centers for acts of violence or threats after a leak of the opinion overturning Roe v. Wade.
There are also signs the Biden administration understands just how politically disastrous the decision to allow the FBI to lay siege to Trump’s home turned out to be.
An article in Newsweek featured senior government officials claiming Attorney General Merrick Garland had no knowledge of the FBI obtaining a search warrant and that the decision to raid Trump’s home was made solely by Director Wray.
Newsweek reported:
The senior Justice Department source says that Garland was regularly briefed on the Records Act investigation, and that he knew about the grand jury and what material federal prosecutors were seeking. He insists, though, that Garland had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the specific raid, nor was he asked to approve it. “I know it’s hard for people to believe,” says the official, “but this was a matter for the U.S. Attorney and the FBI.”
FBI director Christopher Wray ultimately gave his go-ahead to conduct the raid, the senior Justice official says. “It really is a case of the Bureau misreading the impact.”
Conservatives long ago lost faith in the FBI.
The Bureau’s disgraceful conduct in the Russian collusion hoax showed it was staffed and led by viscous partisans working on behalf of the Democrat Party.
Christopher Wray is just continuing the Bureau’s anti-Trump obsession.
But few believe the story that the top levels of the Biden administration were not aware of this raid.
And this makes a massive investigation into this abuse of power necessary.
