The FBI just caught one suspect in a Pam Bondi assassination plot that has federal officials stunned

The threats against Trump administration officials have reached an alarming level.

These radical leftists believe they’re above the law.

And the FBI just caught one suspect in a Pam Bondi assassination plot that has federal officials stunned.

TikTok murder-for-hire scheme caught FBI attention

The FBI arrested Tyler Maxon Avalos, 30, of St. Paul, Minnesota after he posted a murder-for-hire bounty on Attorney General Pam Bondi’s life on TikTok.¹

Avalos displayed an image of Bondi with a red sniper-scope dot superimposed on her forehead alongside the caption “WANTED: Pam Bondi — REWARD: $45,000 — DEAD OR ALIVE (Preferably Dead).”²

Below the threatening image, Avalos added “Cough cough. When they don’t serve us, then what?”³

A TikTok user in Detroit reported the threat to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center on October 9, triggering a federal investigation that moved with remarkable speed.⁴

Federal agents traced the TikTok account “@liminalvoidslip” back to Avalos within days using digital subscriber records from TikTok, Google, and Comcast.⁵

The investigation revealed Avalos operated the account from a Samsung Galaxy device linked to his St. Paul apartment.⁶

FBI agents confirmed Avalos’ identity through Minnesota state supervision records and physical surveillance, observing him exiting his apartment building with his name on the mailbox.⁷

Prosecutors arrested Avalos on October 16 and charged him with Interstate Transmission of a Threat to Injure the Person of Another, a violation of federal law.⁸

Pattern of violence and anarchist ideology exposed

The case gets worse when you examine Avalos’ background and extremist beliefs.

Avalos’ TikTok profile featured anarchist symbols throughout, with his display name incorporating the symbol for anarchy.⁹

The account included a pinned link to “An Anarchist FAQ book,” revealing his ideological commitment to anti-government extremism.¹⁰

FBI Special Agent Caleb Jurchisin, trained in domestic terrorism investigations, flagged the content as credible and dangerous.¹¹

Avalos has a criminal history spanning multiple states that includes a July 2022 felony stalking conviction in Dakota County, Minnesota.¹²

Records show Avalos was convicted of third-degree felony domestic battery in Polk County, Florida in August 2016.¹³

He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic assault in Dakota County in April 2016, with the original charge being felony domestic assault by strangulation.¹⁴

The violent criminal record combined with extremist ideology created the perfect storm for investigators who determined the threat against Bondi was credible and immediate.

Federal prosecutors made clear they’re treating this as a serious criminal conspiracy, not protected speech.¹⁵

U.S. Magistrate Judge Douglas Micko released Avalos from custody under strict conditions including GPS monitoring, a curfew, prohibition on internet use without approval, and requirements to continue mental health treatment.¹⁶

Left-wing violence surging against Trump administration

This arrest comes as threats against Trump administration officials have exploded since January.

Wisconsin resident Andrew Stanton, 38, was arrested just two weeks earlier for posting TikTok videos calling for ICE agents to be shot and killed.¹⁷

Stanton allegedly said “If ICE shows up to your neighborhood, it’s time to start shooting at them” in videos posted between August and October.¹⁸

The Trump administration has launched an aggressive crackdown on what officials describe as coordinated left-wing domestic terrorism targeting conservatives.

President Trump signed a presidential memorandum directing federal agencies to investigate and disrupt networks financing political violence.¹⁹

Attorney General Bondi received specific instructions to prioritize domestic terrorism cases involving “organized doxing campaigns, swatting, rioting, looting, trespass, assault, destruction of property, threats of violence, and civil disorder.”²⁰

The memorandum followed Charlie Kirk’s assassination, which galvanized the administration’s response to left-wing extremism.

Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller called it “the first time in American history that there is an all-of-government effort to dismantle left-wing terrorism.”²¹

The administration designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization and directed the IRS to review tax-exempt status of organizations suspected of funding political violence.²²

The Avalos case perfectly illustrates the violent ideology driving these threats against federal officials.

Prosecutors must now prove Avalos’ post constituted a “true threat” rather than protected political speech under the First Amendment.

The combination of his violent criminal history, anarchist ideology, and specific $45,000 bounty offer will likely make that an easy case for federal prosecutors.

Avalos broadcast a $45,000 bounty on the Attorney General’s head to millions of TikTok users and thought he’d get away with it.

He was wrong.

The FBI had him in custody within a week, and he’s looking at serious federal prison time.

That’s the message the Trump administration is sending to every radical leftist who thinks they can threaten government officials with impunity: try it and find out what happens.
