Donald Trump and his supporters spent three years accusing the FBI of a conspiracy to ruin his Presidency.
Now a smoking gun just proved him right.
That’s because the FBI just got caught red-handed trying to frame Trump for a crime he didn’t commit.
One of the big mysteries surrounding the Russian collusion hoax is why the FBI just didn’t brief Donald Trump and his campaign on their suspicions some members of his campaign were colluding with the Russians.
The answer was because the FBI never intended to act in good faith and the entire Russian collusion scam was designed to frame Trump.
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe released documents showing that when then FBI delivered an intelligence briefing to the Trump campaign in August 2016, the Bureau inserted Joseph Pientka, a member of the “Operation: Crossfire Hurricane” team, into the briefing to spy on Trump and Lt. General Michael Flynn and try and lead them into making incriminating statements about colluding with the Russians.
The Daily Caller reports:
Pientka told the IG that he saw the briefing as an opportunity “to gain assessment and possibly have some level of familiarity with [Flynn]. So, should we get to the point where we need to do a subject interview….I would have that to fall back on.”
Pientka’s memo does not indicate that Trump or Flynn made any incriminating statements. According to Pientka, Trump asked about Russia’s spy activities in the United States compared to other hostile nations, such as China.
The gambit failed because Trump and Flynn were never in cahoots with Russia.
Even though the FBI tried to plant a disinformation agent into Trump’s intelligence briefing to try and frame him and his campaign for colluding with Russia and came up empty, the Bureau continued the Russia witch hunt.
That’s because it was never about the truth. It was always about bringing down Donald Trump.
