What’s Inside This Secret Spy Operation the FBI Opened Up Against Donald Trump Should Put People in Prison

Peter Strzok texted his girlfriend that the Russia investigation had "no big there there" – three days after he opened it anyway.

Now the White House just declassified documents proving Strzok's FBI secretly ran that same investigation against a sitting president.

The file had a code name – Oxferd Comma – and what's inside it should put people in prison.

They Knew There Was Nothing There and Did It Anyway

The FBI opened Oxferd Comma on May 16, 2017 – exactly one week after Trump fired James Comey.

The stated goal was to determine whether the President of the United States was "directed by, controlled by, and/or coordinated activities with, the Russian Federation."

That's not a routine inquiry.

That's treating the elected president of 63 million Americans as a foreign enemy agent.

Peter Strzok – the lead investigator – wrote to Lisa Page on May 19, 2017: "I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern there's no big there there."

He didn't believe it.

He ran it anyway.

FBI Special Agent William Barnett, another investigator on the probe, later told the Justice Department that the bureau had largely ruled out collusion involving the Trump campaign by early 2017 – months before Oxferd Comma even opened.

They had cleared him.

Then they investigated him.

The Clinton Connection Nobody in the Media Will Talk About

By the time the FBI opened Oxferd Comma, agents already knew the entire Russia collusion narrative had been built on a document Hillary Clinton's campaign paid for.

The Steele dossier – the foundational document driving these investigations – was funded by Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

John Durham confirmed this in his 2023 report.

Durham found the FBI "did not and could not corroborate any of the substantive allegations" in that dossier.

He also found that a foreign intelligence partner had warned the FBI about a Clinton campaign operation to falsely connect Trump to Vladimir Putin – and the bureau buried it without opening a single inquiry.

Not one interview.

Not one task force.

Nothing.

They spiked the Clinton tip and went after Trump instead.

And the code name itself – Oxferd Comma – may have been deliberately constructed to prevent discovery.

Former acting Assistant Attorney General Jeff Clark consulted a document expert who concluded the "o" in "Comma" was actually a zero, making the files nearly invisible to standard FISA keyword searches.

Someone inside the FBI didn't want you to find this.

Baker and Priestap Signed the Documents – Now They Need to Answer For Them

Trump's White House Government Transparency Task Force declassified these records Wednesday.

John Solomon – who chairs the Task Force – briefed the public on what's inside.

Oxferd Comma ran as part of Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI's broader investigation targeting Trump's 2016 campaign, and was eventually folded into Robert Mueller's special counsel probe.

Mueller closed it in April 2019 – no charges against Trump, no evidence he ever acted on Russia's behalf.

The Durham report confirmed what Trump had been saying since 2017: the FBI had no real evidence of collusion when it launched Crossfire Hurricane, ignored its own investigative standards, and pursued a conclusion its own agents had already rejected.

FBI General Counsel James Baker and counterintelligence chief Bill Priestap signed the documents opening a criminal investigation into a sitting U.S. president.

Those names matter.

They need to answer – under oath – why they signed off on targeting a president their own investigators had already cleared.

Trump called it a witch hunt for nine years.

Every document that comes out proves he was right.
