The Fulton County DA is the latest Democrat prosecutor to go after Donald Trump.

Establishment Republicans in the Peach State turned their backs on Trump.

And the Governor of Georgia just gave Donald Trump brutal news about his arrest.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is not looking to do Donald Trump any favors after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis indicted Donald Trump and 18 others over contesting the results of the 2020 election.

Governor Kemp’s only comment on the matter was to call Donald Trump a liar over his claims about what happened in the election.

“The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen. For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward – under oath – and prove anything in a court of law. Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus,” Kemp wrote in response to a Truth Social post from Donald Trump.

Kemp had nothing to say about the Democrats weaponizing the justice system to target the leading Presidential contender from the opposition party.

Nor did Kemp have anything to say about the dangerous precedent Willis set by criminalizing political speech and activism.

Likewise Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger claimed democracy and the Constitution depended on the ability of Democrats to jail the top Republican contender for the GOP nomination in an election year.

“The most basic principles of a strong democracy are accountability and respect for the Constitution and rule of law. You either have it, or you don’t,” Raffensperger stated.

Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones was the only statewide official to defend Trump and blast Willis for using the courts to settle a political score.

After criticizing Willis’ politically-motivated prosecution of Donald Trump Jones now faces a special counsel investigation to try and charge him for being a so-called “fake elector.”

Trump furiously attacked Kemp and Raffensperger following the 2020 election.

And Trump recruited Primary challengers in a failed bid to oust the two.

Kemp and Raffensperger are clearly in no mood to go to bat for Trump only out of spite.
