The nation’s top general made two phone calls that had all hell breaking loose

The Deep State is real.

But no one knew how much of a threat it posed to democracy.

And the nation’s top general made two phone calls that had all hell breaking loose.

Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s new book contains bombshell evidence that Donald Trump was right to fear there was a Deep State coup underway to overthrow him.

In Peril, Costa and Woodward detail how anti-Trump chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley made two phone calls to Communist Chinese General Li Zuocheng pledging that America would not attack the Communist Chinese.

The Washington Post reports:

In a pair of secret phone calls, Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, assured his Chinese counterpart, Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army, that the United States would not strike, according to a new book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward and national political reporter Robert Costa.

One call took place on Oct. 30, 2020, four days before the election that unseated President Donald Trump, and the other on Jan. 8, 2021, two days after the Capitol siege carried out by his supporters in a quest to cancel the vote.

In one call General Milley went so far as to promise to alert the Chinese if an American attack were planned.

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise,” Costa and Woodward report Milley saying.

If this is true, it means that President Trump’s top military advisor went behind the President’s back to collude with America’s number one enemy to reveal classified information that would compromise the American military.

And if this reporting is true, not only was the Deep State real, but one of its ring leaders committed an act of treason, which is defined as giving aid and comfort to the enemy in wartime.

What’s more, the calls would have occurred amidst reports China was then offering bounties to non-state actors in Afghanistan to kill U.S. troops.
