The Supreme Court crushed Joe Biden with this back-breaking defeat

Democrats were bracing for the worst.

The news was even more devastating than they could imagine.

And the Supreme Court crushed Joe Biden with this back-breaking defeat.

One of the marquee Supreme Court cases this term was Brnovich v. The Democratic National Committee.

In this case the DNC sued the State of Arizona and Mark Brnovich, the Attorney General for The Grand Canyon State, arguing two Arizona election integrity provisions – throwing out ballots from voters who vote in the wrong precinct and banning third party ballot harvesting schemes – violated section two of the Voting Rights Act.

The Conservatives on the Supreme Court handed down a six-to-three majority decision crippling the ability of Democrats to challenge state election integrity laws.

Justice Samuel Alito – voting for the majority – argued that the Arizona laws fell well within the normal bounds of voting.

“Having to identify one’s own polling place and then travel there to vote does not exceed the ‘usual burdens of voting,’ Alito ruled. “On the contrary, these tasks are quintessential examples of the usual burdens of voting.”

Even Chief Justice John Roberts cited a 2005 federal government commissioned report on mail-in voting opening the possibility of fraud as to why laws banning ballot harvesting passed muster.

The majority held that any rule was going to have some disparate impact but that challengers needed to prove widespread harm to minority groups and prove that the state had no interest in preventing voter fraud.

The DNC lawyers challenging the Arizona laws didn’t prove either, leading the Court to rule the laws could stand.

This decision likely dealt a death blow to the Biden administration’s lawsuit against the State of Georgia’s new election integrity law.

And it will also provide legal running room for red states to secure the sanctity of the ballot with measures to crackdown on voter fraud while increasing confidence in American elections.

This ruling is sure to increase the pressure in the Left’s push in Congress to federalize state election laws and expectations that Democrats will resurrect their so-called “For the People Act” elections power grab in Congress in the coming weeks.
