The Supreme Court will get a major face lift if one terrible thing happens

The 2020 election cycle is not over yet.

In fact, there is still a major fight left.

And the Supreme Court will get a major face lift if one terrible thing happens.

The two Georgia Senate runoffs on January 5 will determine control of the United States Senate.

If Republicans win just one of those races they will keep the majority in the Senate.

That’s important because, should Joe Biden win the Presidency, a Democrat-run Senate will confirm Joe Biden’s radical judicial nominees, including at least one Supreme Court nominee.

Senate Judiciary Committee member Iowa Senator Joni Ernst told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt that, in case Biden wins the Presidency, it would be vital that a Republican Senate act as a bulwark against a potential President packing the courts with radical Left socialists.

Ernst told Hewitt that “if there are some radical, radical liberals, those judicial activists, we absolutely must be able to stop them as they are coming through the Judiciary Committee and the nominations process. And we’ll be able to properly do that as long as we have the majority.”

Either way, it is important for Republicans to keep the majority.

If Donald Trump wins, then Senate Republicans can continue to confirm President Trump’s conservative judicial nominees.

And if Biden wins, a Republican Senate can check his anti-American agenda.

“And so, yes, we are the firewall, that majority in the United States Senate, that majority on the Judiciary Committee. Of course we want to properly vet any nominee that comes in front of us. But certainly, if there are some radical, radical liberals, those judicial activists, we absolutely must be able to stop them as they are coming through the Judiciary Committee and the nominations process. And we’ll be able to properly do that as long as we have the majority,” Ernst concluded.
