The Trans Mob Told JK Rowling She Should Have Died Instead of Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton spent 80 years giving everything she had.

Author JK Rowling posted a heartfelt tribute to the country legend on social media.

And what the trans mob told JK Rowling on the day America lost Dolly Parton tells you everything about the Left.

"It Should Have Been You"

Rowling called Parton an "irreplaceable one-off" and shared a personal backstage memory from the 1990s when she met the country legend and was "completely tongue-tied and starstruck."

She praised Parton's Imagination Library – the program that has put free books in the hands of millions of children across the English-speaking world – as "the best contribution to child literacy ever made by a celebrity."

“Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library was the best contribution to child literacy ever made by a celebrity,” she wrote on X. “Our paths crossed once, in the 90s, backstage at a talk show, and I was completely tongue-tied and starstruck.”

“RIP Dolly,” she continued, before adding that “you were a complete, irreplaceable one-off.”

A warm tribute.

The trans activists had a different response.

One wrote, "It should have been you" – telling Rowling she should be the dead one, not Dolly Parton.

Rowling shared the message with her followers and responded directly to its author: "Top tips for wishing death on people in public. Blocking the target is useless if you've signposted your real name and university in your bio."

They Have Done This to Rowling for Seven Years Straight

Since 2019, when she first publicly defended a woman fired for stating that biological sex is real, the trans movement has aimed death threats, harassment campaigns, and professional destruction at her with industrial efficiency.

The Harry Potter stars abandoned her.

Woke Hollywood turned her into a pariah.

A movement that lectures the world about love and inclusion told the woman who created one of the most beloved children's book series in history that she deserves to die.

And every time, Rowling refuses to break.

Another X user attacked her on Tuesday for daring to grieve alongside the rest of the world: "You know you and Dolly have nothing to agree upon, you f–king monster."

Rowling's response: "Well, joke's on you, because neither of us want Jolene to take our man."

She is winning every single one of these exchanges.

What This Tells You About the Movement

The person who sent that death wish didn't post anonymously.

They used their real name.

Their university was in their bio.

These are educated people – people who go to college and learn to lecture the rest of us about tolerance and compassion – openly wishing death on a woman for saying biological sex exists.

That's not fringe behavior in this movement.

That's standard operating procedure.

They did it to Rowling when she defended a fired researcher in 2019.

They did it when she published a lengthy essay in 2020 explaining her position calmly and at length.

And they did it yesterday, on the day the world lost Dolly Parton – a woman who embodied kindness, generosity, and love for every single person she encountered.

The contrast is not subtle.

Dolly Parton built a literacy program that put free books in the hands of children who couldn't afford them.

JK Rowling gave an entire generation of kids the magic of reading through Harry Potter.

The trans mob's contribution to that moment of global grief: "It should have been you."

Let that tell you everything you need to know.
