The UN Just Voted to Keep the Man Who Attacked ICE and Donald Trump Walked In and Destroyed Him

Two months ago, 144 countries voted to give UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk four more years to lecture America about its borders.

Donald Trump walked into the United Nations on Tuesday and told every one of them exactly what they could do with that opinion.

Donald Trump said words no president has ever said at the United Nations – and the man who spent 2026 demanding America halt deportations had no answer.

The UN Spent 2026 Attacking America While Christians Burned

Volker Turk – the UN’s top human rights official – made the United States his primary target this year.

He demanded accountability for deaths in ICE custody.

He called on Washington to halt deportations to countries where migrants face “irreparable harm.”

While he was busy doing all of that, 4,849 Christians were killed for their faith worldwide – a record high according to Open Doors’ 2026 World Watch List.

In June 2025, a church bombing in Damascus killed 22 worshippers.

Turk issued no statement.

388 million Christians now face high to extreme levels of persecution globally – one in seven believers on earth.

Trump named him on Tuesday.

“The craven hypocrites of the Human Rights Council have little to say about the persecution of Christians,” Trump told the General Assembly.

He told the room that Christians are being persecuted all over the world at a scale that is almost unbelievable – while the UN’s own apparatus looks the other way.

“Christians are being persecuted all over the world, it’s not even believable,” Trump said. “I never thought I’d say it, but it’s been happening for a long time.”

Trump Said the Words the Entire UN Was Built to Prevent

Standing before 193 member nations, Trump delivered the bluntest immigration statement ever made from that podium.

“There is no human right to illegal immigration, but there is a right to remain a sovereign nation,” he said.

He wasn’t diplomatic about where Biden’s policy led.

“They want the worst people to come in from the worst places on earth,” Trump said of the UN’s open-border apparatus. “We did do it, but we don’t do that anymore.”

He also turned the UN’s own mission against it.

“It is deeply ironic that UNESCO is devoted to protecting cultural heritage,” Trump said, “yet with their ceaseless promotion of mass migration, these globalists are actively destroying the greatest cultures and most extraordinary heritage in all of history.”

That’s not a talking point.

That’s a direct logical contradiction at the heart of the globalist project – and Trump forced the room to sit with it.

This Is the Institution That Just Gave Turk Four More Years

July 25, 2026 – just two months ago – the UN General Assembly voted 144 to 10 to renew Turk’s mandate despite explicit US opposition.

America voted no.

Now those same countries sat in that chamber while Trump explained what their human rights apparatus actually does: ignore the slaughter of Christians, ignore the crimes of the world’s most repressive regimes, and train its fire on the one country enforcing its own laws.

Trump also formally rejected the International Criminal Court – an institution he called an “anti-American tribunal with no jurisdiction” over the United States.

He called on every nation in that room to resign from the “rogue institution immediately.”

A president who shows up to the UN, names the man running the operation against America, and tells 144 countries they got it wrong doesn’t need the institution’s approval.

He’s already made clear America doesn’t need it either.
