Joe Biden and the Democrats are expecting to make Bob Woodward’s book their “September Surprise.”
Woodward published audio clips that Biden and his campaign quickly made the centerpiece of their campaign.
But now this one video came back to haunt Joe Biden.
It all came together like a coordinated media hit.
In an interview with Jake Tapper, Biden ripped President Trump for trying to project a sense of calm about the coronavirus in February and March.
Tapper played a clip of President Trump saying he did not want to incite panic on the coronavirus, which the fake news claimed meant Trump lied to the public about what he knew about the coronavirus.
Biden accused Trump of criminal behavior.
“That’s why we have no confidence in his leadership. I mean, look, you saw what Columbia Medical School pointed out in March, had he acted one week earlier, there would be over 31,000 more people alive. Two weeks earlier would have been 50 some thousand still alive. This caused people to die.
“What did he do the whole time? He acknowledged that if you breathed it, it’s in the air, and he won’t put on a mask. He’s talking about it’s ridiculous to put on masks. What do you need social distancing for? Why have any of these rules? It was all about making sure the stock market didn’t come down, that his wealthy friends didn’t lose any money, and that he could say that, in fact, anything that happened had nothing to do with him.
“He waved a white flag. He walked away. He didn’t do a damn thing. Think about it. Think about what he did not do, and it’s almost criminal,” Biden ranted on fake news CNN.
But at a campaign rally on February 28, Biden said exactly the same thing by telling the few supporters in attendance not to panic about the coronavirus.

This fits a pattern with Biden on the coronavirus.
Most of the things Biden claims he would do as President to handle the coronavirus are things the administration is already doing.
Biden had nothing to say about coronavirus during the early stages of the outbreak other than to criticize Donald Trump for being xenophobic for restricting travel to and from China.
