Trey Gowdy called out this rising star Democrat for the biggest TV blunder he’s ever seen

Trey Gowdy has seen the worst of the Democrat Party.

But nothing compared to what he just witnessed.

So now Trey Gowdy called out this rising star Democrat for the biggest TV blunder he’s ever seen.

Democrats and the media elevated Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush to folk hero status after her protest over letting an unconstitutional Centers for Disease Control eviction moratorium expire ended with Joe Biden and the Democrats mandating a massive infringement on property rights.

Biden caved to Bush after Bush slept on the steps of the Capitol. That’s all it took for him to announce his intention to operate as a rogue executive outside the law by issuing a new, illegal CDC eviction ban.

But that wasn’t enough for Bush.

In an interview with CBS News Bush reacted to reports that she paid out $70,000 for private security. Bush had zero apology for her privilege when asked how she shelled out for security at the same time Bush supported defunding the police and removing the ability of everyday citizens to feel safe from the threat of crime.

Not only did Bush confirm the reports, but Bush declared that only her life matters and regular people need to “suck it up” and suffer the ravages of crime because “defunding the police has to happen.”

“I’m gonna make sure I have security because I know I have had attempts on my life, and I have too much work to do, there are too many people that need help right now for me to allow that. So if I end up spending $200,000, if I end up spending $10 more on it, you know what? I get to come out and get to be here to do the work, so suck it up and defunding the police has to happen. We need to defund the police and put the money into social safety nets because we’re trying to save lives,” Bush shouted into the camera.

Most politicians try to come off as salt of the earth types, but Bush flat-out stated she was more important than regular people and whatever ills befall them by declaring that gutting law enforcement was a necessary sacrifice.

Trey Gowdy blasted Bush for the most outrageous interview he’s even seen.

“The single most illogical interview I think I have ever seen. She says she’s the victim of a crime, and then in the next sentence she wants to defund the group that would investigate whether or not she’s the victim of a crime. Who does she think investigates threats against public officials? It’s not psychologists! And then she says I’m gonna be safe, but you’re on your own and I want my body safe on this planet but good luck to you on Neptune. It is illogical, but transparent. She was very clear, and we’re gonna see that tape again,” Gowdy stated.
