Trey Gowdy delivered a warning to Joe Biden that will stop Democrats dead in their tracks

The hits keep on coming for Joe Biden.

Biden just executed the latest embarrassing failure in his Presidency.

And Trey Gowdy delivered a warning to Joe Biden that will stop Democrats dead in their tracks.

Joe Biden traveled to Saudi Arabia hat in hand to beg Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to increase his country’s oil production.

Biden’s war on American energy caused a surge in gas prices that threatened the Democrats’ grip on power in the Midterm elections.

But rather than call off the dogs and lift the restrictions on American oil and natural gas, Biden turned to a country he promised to make a pariah during the 2020 campaign over the Crown Prince’s alleged involvement in the death of Jamal Khashoggi.

After Biden greeted the Crown Prince with a fist bump when the two met, many in the press were critical of the President’s warm greeting for bin Salman.

When a reporter asked Biden about the fist bump, he snapped and said it was a stupid question.

“Why don’t you guys talk about something that matters? I’m happy to answer a question that matters,” Biden raged.

On his Sunday night show on Fox News, former Congressman Trey Gowdy took Biden to task for his thin skin.

Gowdy noted that it was not just gas prices where Saudi Arabia played a key global role.

Donald Trump cultivated Saudi Arabia as an ally due to the Kingdom’s ability to provide a check on the terrorist government in Iran.

Gowdy criticized Biden for rupturing that relationship to play into the media’s demand for punishing bin Salman over Khashoggi’s death since he once wrote columns for the Washington Post.

“And that was arguably not the toughest issue the President faced in Saudi Arabia, the toughest issue may have been navigating America’s need for Saudi Arabia as an ally against Iran, while also bringing up the reality that our intelligence community believes Saudi Arabia ordered the murder and subsequent dismembering of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi,” Gowdy stated.

Gowdy warned Biden that taking criticism comes with the job of being President.

“Being President is a hard job. There are economic issues, security issues, energy issues, and there is also the obligation to stand for something morally, like not killing members of the press for example. It’s a tough job, which is why so few of us raise our hands and volunteer for it. But when you do raise your hand and say ‘pick me to be the leader of the free world,’ you can expect some scrutiny. And that’s exactly what President Biden is getting,” Gowdy concluded.
