For two years, Nancy Pelosi hid the complete record of 41,000 hours of security camera footage from the Capitol on January 6 from the public.
The American people only saw cherry-picked bits and pieces the January 6 Committee spoon fed to them.
Since the Committee’s roster consisted of diehard Trump haters like Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and Adam Kinzinger, that ensured whatever video footage the public saw was carefully selected to advance the committee’s false narrative that Trump and his supporters are an insurrectionist mob trying to overthrow American democracy.
But according to Tucker Carlson that storyline is about to collapse.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy granted Carlson exclusive access to the complete archive of security camera footage.
And Carlson said he is going to show his viewers what he found.
But what Carlson found interesting are the lengths the supposed “pro-democracy” forces are willing to go to keep this footage secret.
“The defenders of democracy are defending democracy again,” Carlson began. “They’re telling you it’s really, really dangerous. And anyone would get to see the thousands of hours of surveillance footage from January 6th, which has been hidden from the public for two years as a tiny group of people gets to make up stories about what happened that day and change the country on the basis of those stories.”
Carlson wondered how anyone could claim to support democracy while at the same time hiding vital information about a critical event from the public.
“So you’re defending democracy, but you’re denying people information on the basis of which they can make their own decisions,” Carlson added.
Carlson revealed his examination of the tape showed Democrats and the media were lying about what happened on January 6.
“How does that work exactly?” Carlson continued. “Well, it’s not democracy, of course. It’s building a bulwark against your lies being revealed. And they are lying. And we know that because we’ve been looking at the tape.”
Carlson promised that “we’re going to bring you information on the tape and some of it next week. And we think it’s going to be really, really interesting.”
