Joe Biden is desperately still trying to remind people that he is running for President.
But now Biden’s name is in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
And now Tucker Carlson let the cat out of the bag on some bad news for Joe Biden.
Tucker Carlson appeared on Charlie LeDuff’s podcast “No BS News Hour” and claimed that because of Joe Biden’s obvious and growing senility Democrats would use the coronavirus outbreak as an opportunity to switch out Joe Biden for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
“So the Democratic Party is intent on taking power, period, period, and they mean it, and they’re willing to do kind of whatever they think works,” Carlson stated. “I mean that’s demonstrable.”
Carlson explained that it was obvious to everyone that Biden was in serious mental decline and had no business running for President.
“He shouldn’t be working still,” Carlson continued. “I’m not being mean. I know him. I’ve always liked him. But that’s true. And so those are two trains traveling toward each other at high speed, two competing imperatives. We’ve got to win, but we’ve got a guy who can’t win. Therefore, they’re gonna replace him.”
“This is not the guy I’ve known, and you can ask anybody who knows him or has watched him,” Carlson added. “This is not him. He’s a completely different person, and he’s in decline, and I feel bad about it. That’ll be me someday. […] I hope somebody loves me enough to not let me run for president.”
Carlson concluded by claiming Democrats would ultimately swap out Biden for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo is the one Democrat in America raising their profile during the pandemic.
New York is the epicenter of the outbreak and that fact combined with the media being concentrated in Manhattan led Cuomo’s daily press conferences to garner the same wall-to-wall cable news coverage that President Trump’s do.
Rachel Maddow called Cuomo “president of the coronavirus response” and other reporters dubbed him “America’s Governor.”
Democrats believe the election will be a referendum on the coronavirus response and Carlson is betting that Democrats will want to run the candidate they judge to have offered the strongest public image during the outbreak – and that would be Andrew Cuomo.
