There is no bigger critic of Dr. Anthony Fauci in the media than Tucker Carlson.
On Monday night, Carlson came out guns blazing against Fauci’s horrendous performance as the nation’s top COVID advisor.
And Tucker Carlson said two words that absolutely embarrassed Dr. Anthony Fauci.
It’s becoming increasingly apparent that Dr. Fauci was not entirely forthcoming in his testimony to Congress when he claimed the National Institute for Health never funded gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
This dangerous research makes viruses more transmissible, and critics contend Fauci helped fund the science that turned COVID-19 into such an easy to spread virus.
Carlson ripped Dr. Fauci for the arrogant and delusional comments Fauci made in a CBS interview.
During the interview, Dr. Fauci claimed that Republican Senators criticizing him were really criticizing science because he was the living embodiment of science.
Fauci told CBS anchor Margaret Brennan:
That’s OK. I’m just going to do my job and I’m going to be saving lives and they’re going to be lying.
There is a distinct anti-science flavor to this, so if they get up and criticize science, nobody is going to know what they’re talking about. But if they get up and really aim their bullets at Tony Fauci, well people can recognize there’s a person there, so it’s easy to criticize. But they are really criticizing science because I represent science.
Carlson compared Fauci reverently speaking of himself in third person to the Italian fascist dictator, Benito Mussolini, who allied Italy with the Axis powers in World War 2.
“After two years of non-stop media adulation, Tony Fauci has morphed into an even shorter version of Benito Mussolini,” Carlson stated. “Watch Fauci on television the other day refer to himself without even flinching in the third person.”
So far, Fauci has refused to rule out vaccine mandates for air travel and new lockdowns as COVID cases rise due to the new Omicron variant, telling reporters that right now it’s “too early to tell.”
But despite the fact that 80 percent of American adults took at least one shot of the coronavirus vaccine, cases are still rising across the country.
And Fauci’s response is to threaten the American people with more mandates, more power grabs, and more lockdowns unless everyone obeys his authoritarian edicts.
And that is why Tucker Carlson compared Fauci to a 1940s style fascist dictator.
