Tucker Carlson scored this big revenge on Fox News that no one could believe

Fox News is the one coming out worse for wear in this feud with Tucker Carlson.

Surprisingly, it’s Fox News who watched as their stature on the Right shrank.

And Tucker Carlson scored this big revenge on Fox News that no one could believe.

Fox News used to be the go-to stop for any candidate wanting to run for President as a Republican.

The normal course of business would see a contender hold a launch event to generate maximum coverage on Fox News and then do interviews with Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham to get in front of as many eyeballs as possible to build momentum and raise money from the grassroots.

But in the wake of Fox News firing Tucker Carlson, that template no longer holds.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis decided to announce his Presidential campaign on Twitter spaces with Elon Musk.

It’s the latest salvo showing Twitter encroaching on Fox News’ place in conservative media.

Carlson praised this development in an interview with Axios, explaining that media outlets – which include Fox News – harm democracy by censoring the news to fit their preferred narrative.

“The old system is collapsing,” Carlson stated. “You can’t claim you’ve got a democracy if all the information voters receive before a Presidential election has been curated by the people already in charge.”

DeSantis taking his campaign announcement to Twitter followed a trend of conservatives taking to Twitter to get their message out.

Carlson recently announced a plan to relaunch his show as a livestream broadcast on Twitter.

And Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing announced the conservative media company would now put all of its podcasts – including the popular Ben Shapiro show – on Twitter.

“At this moment, Twitter is the largest free speech platform in the world,” Boreign said of the decision to move to Twitter.

“If Elon Musk stands by his commitment to make Twitter a home for free speech and delivers on monetization opportunities and more sophisticated analytics for content creators, I imagine we will invest even more into the platform,” Boreign added.

For decades Fox News was the dominant voice in the conservative movement.

But firing Tucker Carlson changed all that.
