Tucker Carlson went on TV and pointed out one mistake that will cost Democrats in 2020

The Democrats are heading into the 2020 election with a defined plan to defeat Donald Trump.

Every party leader and rank-and-file Democrat believes this strategy will succeed.

But Tucker Carlson went on TV and pointed out one mistake that will cost Democrats in 2020.

Tucker Carlson led off his Thursday night broadcast by analyzing the second Democrat presidential debate.

What he saw did not impress him.

In fact, Carlson said Democrats made a fatal mistake.

Carlson pointed out that Democrats were following the Hillary Clinton 2016 playbook of insulting all of Middle America as “racist.”

The Daily Caller reports:

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted Democratic presidential candidates for seeming to go with the “untested political theory” of thinking they can win elections if they just call enough people “racist.”

“Four years ago, Democrats came up with a new and untested political theory: They could win the White House, their strategists promised, if only they called enough people racist,” Carlson said during a Thursday night monologue on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The Fox News host recalled how Hillary Clinton denounced “half the country as bigots” in 2016, a move that ultimately “didn’t work.

Hillary Clinton famously declared during the 2016 campaign that half of all Trump supporters belonged in a basket which she called ‘deplorables.’

Clinton claimed these Americans were racist, sexist, and homophobic bigots that were “irredeemable.”

Middle America – sensing the hatred the Democrats held for them – turned out in record numbers to vote for President Trump and to send a message.

To Tucker Carlson’s trained ear, and based on the Democrats presidential debate, it does not appear the Party listened and learned their lesson.
