Joe Biden is the nominal leader of the Democrat Party.
But he may not be for long.
And now two top Democrats made a confession about Joe Biden that no one saw coming.
One of the most contentious primaries in America is in New York’s 12th Congressional District.
Thanks to a newly-drawn map, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler is running against Oversight Committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney in the 12th District.
Maloney and Nadler debated ahead of the Primary, and when the topic of Joe Biden came up, the two gave very interesting answers.
Despite running in a deep-Blue district in deep-Blue New York, neither Maloney nor Nadler wanted to endorse Joe Biden running for re-election in 2024.
Nadler tried to punt on the question.
“Too early to say. Doesn’t serve the purpose of the Democratic Party, to deal with that until after the Midterms,” Nadler stated.
Maloney was more direct in dismissing the possibility that Biden would even seek a second term.
“I don’t believe he’s running for reelection,” Maloney stated.
But neither went as far as Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips.
Congressman Phillips answered a flat “no” when asked if Biden should be on the ballot again in 2024.
“No,” Phillips stated, “I think the country would be well-served by a new generation of compelling, well-prepared, dynamic Democrats who step up.”
Phillips couched his answer that Biden was too old and senile to run again in terms of Democrats needing to find a new JFK or Barack Obama-like figure to lead the Party.
“I think it’s time for a generational change,” Phillips added. “And I think most of my colleagues agree with that.”
The Real Clear Politics polling average shows just 39 percent of Americans approve of Joe Biden’s job as President.
A recent Gallup Poll found Joe Biden was the least popular President in history at this point in their term.
Democrats also recognize that at 79-years-old, Joe Biden is not mentally capable of carrying out his duties as President.
With Biden fighting a proxy war with Russia over Ukraine and Communist China threatening conflict over Taiwan, America cannot afford a cognitively impaired Commander-in-Chief.
Democrats understand this reality.
And it explains why so many key Democrats are openly speaking out against Joe Biden running for re-election.
