The FBI’s war on Donald Trump just took a major escalation.

House Freedom Caucus Chairman and Pennsylvania Congressman Scott Perry found himself humiliated by FBI agents in front of his family.
Three FBI agents swarmed Perry while he was on vacation with his family and seized his cell phone as part of the Department of Justice’s campaign to criminalize opposition to Joe Biden ahead of the Midterm elections.
Perry slammed Attorney General Merrick Garland’s banana republic tactics, saying that had the Justice Department reached out to his lawyer, he would have happily turned over whatever information they requested.
“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress,” Perry declared. “My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business.”
Perry compared the FBI seizing his cell phone to the raid on Mar-a-Lago, writing that “as with President Trump last night, DOJ chose this unnecessary and aggressive action instead of simply contacting my attorneys. These kinds of banana republic tactics should concern every Citizen — especially considering the decision before Congress this week to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to further persecute law-abiding Citizens.”
Congressman Perry is the Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus.
The FBI seizing Perry’s cell phone gives the Biden administration access to internal Republican Party strategy, donor recruitment, and campaign plans ahead of the Midterm elections.
Since the FBI now serves as the praetorian guard of the Democrat Party, there is little doubt any useful political intelligence will end up in the hands of Democrats.
Republicans across the spectrum slammed the FBI for raiding Donald Trump’s home.
