The Left’s gender identity insanity is out of control.
Jamie Reed describes herself as a 42-year-old to the Left of Bernie Sanders who worked at the Washington University School of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases with transgender children.
But in a bombshell account in the Free Press, Reed described how doctors at the hospital ignored parents and pushed experimental drugs and forced sterilization on biological girls to turn them into boys.
Reed noted that the number of young girls claiming they were transgender exploded in 2015.
“Until 2015 or so, a very small number of these boys comprised the population of pediatric gender dysphoria cases. Then, across the Western world, there began to be a dramatic increase in a new population: Teenage girls, many with no previous history of gender distress, suddenly declared they were transgender and demanded immediate treatment with testosterone,” Reed wrote.
2015 – not coincidentally – was the year former Olympian Bruce Jenner announced he was a woman named Caitlyn and won Glamour’s “Woman of the Year” award.
After that, transgenderism suddenly went mainstream.
Reed revealed the clinic pressured children into irreversible change operations without proper psychiatric evaluations, prescribed drugs that led to vaginal bleeding, and disregarded the wishes of parents.
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced multiple state agencies would begin investigating this ghoulish practice.
“As Attorney General, I want Missouri to be the safest state in the nation for children,” Bailey declared. “We have received disturbing allegations that individuals at the Transgender Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital have been harming hundreds of children each year, including by using experimental drugs on them. We take this evidence seriously and are thoroughly investigating to make sure children are not harmed by individuals who may be more concerned with a radical social agenda than the health of children.”
“The Department of Social Services takes its role to investigate concerns of potential fraud, waste, or abuse in Missouri’s Medicaid program seriously,” acting Director of the state’s Department of Social Services Robert Knodell announced. “We will investigate concerns raised in order to ensure the health and safety of our Medicaid participants and to protect the integrity of the Medicaid program.”
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley posted on social media that the Washington University School of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases received taxpayer funding and would also face an investigation by his office.
“This is a sickening account of forced sterilization and child abuse. Happening in Missouri at an institution that receives federal taxpayer funds. Today my office is launching an investigation. Missouri children deserve to be protected,” Hawley wrote.
