You won’t believe who Joe Biden just said would be his Vice President

Former Vice President Joe Biden is starting to act like a presumptive nominee.

Biden is even floating rumors about who would replace Mike Pence.

And you won’t believe who Joe Biden just said would be his Vice President.

At a campaign stop in New Hampshire, Biden acknowledged he could see himself nominating a Republican to serve as his Vice President.

Biden tried to tamp down the media firestorm sure to follow by claiming he couldn’t name a Republican he would select.

Breitbart reports:

Former Vice President Joe Biden said during a Monday campaign event in New Hampshire that he would consider selecting a Republican as his running mate but conceded that he could not name which rival party member he would choose.

Biden raised the prospect of a GOP running mate in response to a supporter warning the 2020 Democrat frontrunner that he will “have to pull out all the stops” to defeat President Donald Trump if he cliches his party’s nomination.

“The answer is I would, but I can’t think of one now,” Biden responded, prompting laughs from some supporters. “No I’m serious, here’s what I mean. Let me explain that,” the 77-year-old continued. “You know, there’s some really decent Republicans that are out there still, but here’s the problem right now… they’ve got to step up.”

Biden then added that there are a “plethora of qualified people,” particularly “qualified women” and “qualified African Americans.”

Every four years the Fake News Media always floats the possibility of one of the major party nominees picking a running mate from the opposite party.

The closest this came to happening was when John McCain attempted to stab conservatives in the back by selecting failed 2000 Democrat Party Vice Presidential nominee Joe Lieberman as his running mate back in 2008.

McCain backed down when it became clear the delegates at the convention would vote down a pro-abortion running mate.

Joe Biden is an establishment politician who does not excite the Democrat Party base.

If Biden picked a Republican running mate it would attract few crossover voters and alienate diehard Democrats Biden needs to turn out.
