You won’t believe why Andrew Cuomo just got charged with a sex crime

A political bombshell exploded on the Democrat Party.

It took down one of their biggest names.

And you won’t believe why Andrew Cuomo just got charged with a sex crime.

Prosecutors filed a misdemeanor forcible touching charge against former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo over allegations he groped a former aide.

If convicted, former Governor Cuomo would have to register as a sex offender.

New York State Attorney General Letitia James got this ball rolling over the summer with a report detailing allegations made by former and current female aides of sexual harassment and assault by Cuomo.

Cuomo eventually resigned, but State Attorney General James refused to rule out criminal charges.

The State Attorney General cheered the announcement of criminal charges against Cuomo.

“From the moment my office received the referral to investigate allegations that former Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, we proceeded without fear or favor,” Attorney General Letitia James exclaimed. “The criminal charges brought today against Mr. Cuomo for forcible touching further validate the findings in our report.”

But this whole deal smelled like a rat.

The criminal charges dropped one day after State Attorney General James announced her intention to run for Governor of New York.

To many critics, the entire episode looked like an engineered political hit job by James to take out a rival that held an office she coveted.
